GI (HOT-DIP GALVANIZED STEEL)

Hot-dip galvanized steel ("GI") is a zinc coated steel. Hot rolled or cold rolled steel coils with appropriate properties are used as the base metal of GI. After cleaning the surface and annealing for adjustment of mechanical properties, basic metals are passing through molten zinc bath to provide zinc coating. GI has excellent corrosion resistance because of zinc's sacrificial protection effect.

GI is widely used in various fields including automobiles.
